David and Dad in Construction Fun
I figure this is Christmas 1959. "May 1960" is printed on the back of the picture. David and Dad are having so much fun that Mark must be physically restrained by Mom from jumping into the scene.
The top of the piano looks empty to me compared to the small village of composers' busts that I was accustomed to 15 years later.

I love seeing Uncle Dan in a suit and tie on Christmas morning....He must have just returned from preaching.
I wonder if the words "May 1960" on the back of the photo are misleading. Christmas day in 1960 was on a Sunday while Christmas day in 1959 was on a Friday. Could this actually be 1960?
Or, is this two days after Christmas, Sunday the 27th, in 1959?
Hard to imagine why else Dad would be wearing a suit...
I well remember that Christmas. Apa and Ama (Dad's parents Sam and Irene Jones) gave me that construction set. It was metal and wondrously realistic and operational with many moving parts.
